In my case, I'm 5.5" and weigh 152lbs, it compresses so much on the side on which I am sitting that it creates a sort of slope, and I feel I must constantly guard against slipping off. Even after I get up, the slope remains for some time. And, if I return any time soon, I must be careful to sort of pull the stool under me, because attempting to sit on the slope causes the stool to push out and away.The chrome is a bit different, too. In the photo it looks brushed, it is really very shiny. Also, with the assembly instructions came a notice that the included castors were to be used on a rug.
